November 28: Tracking Penguins and Cows: The Secret Weapon to Proving Comms Value with Digital Campaigns
Let’s assume you have an upcoming campaign – perhaps a seasonal public service announcement about a program, a time-sensitive announcement or policy comment from the Minister’s Office. You and your team move into action – you create your communications plan and the wheels of collateral go into motion. Emails, posters, news releases are written, approved and translated – and all link back to your website. Everything comes together and the campaign launches. Whew!
About two weeks later, someone says “how are we doing with campaign X?”
Pregnant pause ensues.
Or, avoid awkward and come to this session. Kelly will teach you the secrets of digital campaign tracking. As evidenced by the references to livestock, we promise this is not a techy session. Instead, it will help you understand the necessary mechanics, the required roles and the reporting expectations you can set when it comes to communications campaign tracking. And yes, seriously, there will be penguins.
Join us Thursday, November 28 at 5 p.m. for this free event in the Systemscope Lounge at 61A York Street in the Byward Market.
